The K & C Poetry Fringe brings together local communities, residents, and visitors of all ages and backgrounds through free poetry workshops, creative activities, performances, and a borough-wide public Poetry Trail rooted in multilingual community voices. By activating public spaces and increasing visibility for underrepresented voices, the Poetry Fringe creates welcoming, recognisable, and accessible cultural experiences for all.
Grassroots-led and rooted in RBKC, the Poetry Fringe champions equitable partnerships, community leadership, and fair representation, helping to shape a more equitable and inclusive arts and culture sector.
The theme for this year’s K & C Poetry Fringe is ‘PEACE’ which will be reflected in the performances.
Join West London’s very own Princess Emmanuelle @EmpresS1Egypt – International bi-lingual Rap-Poetess and Artistic Director of North Kensington’s homegrown performing arts and heritage non-profit Kamitan Arts and the inter-generational Poets from this year’s ‘Poetry Trail’!
The FUNDRAISER will be an opportunity for you to pledge your support towards sustaining the longevity of our annual grassroots-led
Kensington and Chelsea Poetry Fringe 🪶
