The K & C Poetry Fringe returns even stronger for 2026 with the theme of PEACE

There will be workshops and recitations across the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea between June-July 2026, a Poetry Open-call, commissions and a POETRY TRAIL that will run borough-wide between: 21st July – 9th August 🪶

The K & C Poetry Fringe brings together local communities, residents, and visitors of all ages and backgrounds through free poetry workshops, creative activities, performances, and a public Poetry Trail rooted in multilingual community voices. By activating public spaces and increasing visibility for underrepresented voices, the Poetry Fringe creates welcoming, recognisable, and accessible cultural experiences for all. Grassroots-led and rooted in RBKC, the Poetry Fringe champions equitable partnerships, community leadership, and fair representation, helping to shape a more equitable and inclusive arts and culture sector.

The theme for this year’s K & C Poetry Fringe is ‘PEACE’, showcasing a lively range of creative opportunities across the borough that celebrate community spirit and grassroots creativity from the ground up!
